Meet STL Research at Ocean Tech Expo 2026

STL Research are delighted to be exhibiting at Ocean Tech Expo 2026, on 17th and 18th June at the University of Plymouth.
Maritime UK South West’s Ocean Tech Expo showcases leading technical capability and near market innovation capable of increasing productivity, improving safety, adding to national security, and decarbonisation across a wide range of offshore activities.
David Kirkley, Managing Director of STL Research explains, “Ocean Tech Expo comes at a time when the South West’s strategic importance for marine autonomy, defence, and floating offshore wind, has been recognised by government and industry alike. Our expertise in motion compensation, control and automation for offshore applications is ideally suited to improve safety and increase productivity in all of these focus markets”.

David continued, “We are already discussing possible opportunities for both our Proteus Launch and Recovery System and Neptune Personnel Access System with South West based organisations, so Ocean Tech Expo offers a perfect opportunity to highlight our products, extend our network, and strengthen our existing relationships”.

STL Research’s Business Development Manager, Phil Vosper, will be in attendance for both days of the exhibition, and would be more than happy to discuss products, services, and capabilities with all interested parties.
